YOUR EYES
Your eyes, your lovely eyes
Saw right through my disguise.
My mask, now I have no need of
For you descended like a dove
And saw inside my lonely heart.
A new life, I now will start.
No more a look toward tomorrow
For if I live today, I’ll have no sorrow
My tongue I will control,
For you have seen inside my soul.
I long to look again, into your eyes
For there is where, I lost my disguise
Oh your eyes, your lovely eyes.
