World War!

“Feathers and Switches” is a story about four years in the lives of a myriad of people during World War II. The novel will be available in the spring of 2011.

Erik Mueller the son of Heinrick Mueller, a supporter of Adolph Hitler, must decide to join his father and the Nazis or to oppose them.

Moriah Monet, a young woman of sixteen is the only survivor when the Nazis bomb the train she and her mother are taking to Switzerland. Moriah tries to find her father Captain Pierre Monet. He was captured by the Germans months earlier.

Vladimir Petrovich, a Russian and a combatant in WWI took refuge in the mountains twenty years ago. He finds Moriah after her escape from the train wreck.

Captain Alexander Anderson, childhood friend of Winston Churchill and a member of MI-6, wants vengeance. His wife and daughter and all souls abord died when a German U-Boat sank the ship taking them to the safety of America.

Heinrick Mueller lost his father Horst and his brother Krisjan in the last war. After the war, Heinrick lost his one true love, his wife Frieda. Frieda died in the filth, hunger and cold in the streets of Berlin. The Brits and Americans would pay.

Captain Aubrey Allrock, a US Navy submarine commander was a young Seaman during the last war. The Germans sank the submarine and killed his Captain. Now there would be another war and Aubrey was ready.

Leona Leon Mueller prepares for the next war, the war now at her front door. Her son Heinrick is in league with the devil, Adolf Hitler. Her eldest grandson Hans is just like his father and already in a Nazi uniform. Erik, the youngest grandson is not. Erik is her hope.

Captain Pierre Monet is a POW held by the Nazis. He has had no word from France. He does not know where his wife Michelle and Moriah are dead, or if they are alive. Now, Pierre’s world is a concentration camp. His dream, escape.

Jacques Cordell is a French Resistance leader. He loves France and hates the Germans. He assists British spies in wrecking havoc behind the German lines.

Korporal Hans Mueller, like his father, is a Nazi. Unlike his father, Hans cares nothing for the Fatherland. He is interested in the profit and prestige that can be realized through the means of war. Hans would make his mark.

Thomas Hine is a distiller of both legal and illegal scotch whiskey, as had his father been. He also is a leader in the German Resistance. His main objective is the assassination of Adolf Hitler.

These and many more characters from around the planet try to survive the apocalypse that was the Armageddon of their time.
